Saw this in the theater in 1981. Had a blast.<br /><br />Saw it when it first got released on video in 1984. Had a laugh.<br /><br />Saw it on cable last week. Had a fit.<br /><br />To be fair, it was almost original during its original run. But now that all the clichés have been run into the ground, it's not worth a second look.<br /><br />Linda Blair was the best actress here. And while Vinny Van Patten has done some good performances, this wasn't one of them. He didn't seem comfortable playing a surfer 'dude.' <br /><br />For Linda Blair fans/completests only. |
