I saw this at matinee prices, and feel that I overpaid. This movie is very predictable, and the plot hinges largely on completely implausible items. For example, after sitting in a warehouse for 1000 years, Harriers will still fly. And illiterate people can learn to fly them in battle in a week. And they carry enough fuel to get from Texas to Denver, hover interminably, and dogfight without refueling. And 1000 year old fuel will still be good. Oh, and igniting a planet's atmosphere will cause the planet itself to disintegrate into tiny pieces. |
